Introduction

MEC was founded over two decades ago to address an urgent need for Carbon producer in Egypt and the Middle East, to serve and provide the Carbon requirements of steel, cement, water purification and metallurgical industries.

The Steel industry has been booming over the last decade in Egypt and the Middle East, which has seen a production capacity dramatic increase.

MEC has been established to meet this boom at the right time.

History and Future Plans

The plant was originally built with one production line. Due to ever-increasing demand in the region, a second and third production lines were added.
